Let’s get KRAKEN with RinCon! We’ve now posted all the events that the amazing members of our crew (that’s you!) have submitted, so go ahead and build your schedule. As you do, be sure to use the same email to log in to this site that you used to purchase your tickets on Eventbrite.
This year, we’ll be leaving this site open for sign-ups throughout the event, so you’ll be able to sign up here to play games all weekend, and you’ll check in at the beginning of each session when you sit down to play.
Ladies - something evil stirs in Arkham, and only we can stop it. Blurring the traditional lines between role-playing and card game experiences, Arkham Horror: The Card Game is a Living Card Game of Lovecraftian mystery, monsters, and madness - and it has some incredible female character options. I will be bringing several female investigator desks for the players to choose from. Will you be Daisy, the librarian who knows too much? Agnes, the waitress with memories of a disturbing past life and access to some sick spells? Maybe street-smart Wendy, the orphan with death-defying survival skills? Or perhaps Zoey, the chef who is simply following God's instructions that she hears in her head when she uses her knife for more than prepping food? If you like money, Jenny is your girl. Balanced and head strong she is versatile to the max - as long as she isn't distracted by a family tragedy. Studious Minh, fresh off the heels of her boss's suicide, who knows more than she lets on. Sefina the painter whose brush strokes has exposed her to an unknown and unnatural world others can't comprehend. Or Akachi, the sorcerer whose talents - initially disregarded as insanity - lead her to powerful heights and to be uniquely equipped for the horrifying turn of events that make up this game. This game can feel complex, but it is accessible to any beginners willing to learn. We will be playing the intro scenario, "The Gathering." Expect 3-4 hours game time including a full review of the rules.
